Well, now I’ve really done it. I spilled a glass of water on my computer. I blew it out with an air compressor and set it in a box of rice overnight, but when I tried to turn it on… nothing. So please forgive the intermittent posting until I get something new up and running.
In the meantime, check out DC’s welcoming of a new velodrome, the famous Vandedrome. First seen on Prolly in early December, the DC Velodrome is a non-profit looking to eventually pave the way for a permanent track in DC. The Vandedrome has been making the blog rounds over the past few years as it was hunting for a home, and we’re excited to see that it’s making its way to the East Coast. According to dcvelodrome.org, we don’t yet know the intended site for the track, but if you follow @dcvelodrome on Twitter, an exciting announcement is supposed to be made soon.
